Dickies history began in 1918, when CN Williamson and EE Dickie, after their careers in the vehicle and wiring industry in Bryan, decided to open the first overalls store, “the US Overall Company”. Shortly after its inception, in 1926, the company created the famous Dickies 874 pant, a flat-front, permanent crease polycotton pant, which revolutionized both streetwear and workwear. Today, Dickies pants and shirts are considered legendary, and worn by thousands of artists, not as an endorsement, but because they like it, and that makes a brand more sincere. Dickies continues to be a leader in both streetwear and workwear, producing workwear that has become icons in the world of skateboarding and streetwear.
